‘Blob’ gone, not forgotten by scientists studying fish stocks decline

William Cheung, a professor in the Changing Ocean Research Unit at UBC, spoke to the Vancouver Sun for a story about an area of water with record high temperatures.

Cheung said B.C. fish species salmon and herring are especially at risk to temperature swings, as are the coastal First Nations that rely upon the fish.

The story also appeared in the Times Colonist.
