An examination of higher education in France

UBC’s Julien Picault wrote about post-secondary education in France in an article for Le Monde (described here).

Picault, an economics professor in UBC’s Okanagan campus, argued that there is too much focus on the traditional university degree in France, and not enough attention paid to trades and apprenticeships, which are needed to fill growing gaps in many industries.
