Why teenage jobs are good for your kids

The Conversation published an op-ed by Marc-David L. Seidel, a UBC Sauder School of Business professor; Dennis Ma, a UBC PhD candidate in organizational behaviour; and Marjan Houshmand at the University of Hawaii, about the benefits of jobs for teenagers.

The authors wrote that “students can learn many life skills through working, and if teenage job opportunities are overlooked, they can miss out on many benefits.”
