Accidents appear to be on the rise on Port Mann Bridge

The Vancouver Sun interviewed Patrick Condon, a UBC urban design professor, about an apparent increase in accidents on the toll-free Port Mann Bridge.

He said “presuming there’s an increase in the use of the bridge…as a consequence of the removal of tolls it would certainly follow that there would be a commensurate increase in the number of accidents.”

The story also appeared in The Province and 24 Hours Vancouver.
