Vessel noise reduces killer whales’ ability to hunt

John Ford, a UBC zoology researcher, weighed in for a Vancouver Sun article about new research that finds vessel noises lowers the ability of killer whales to hunt.

He said that northern resident killer whales are doing well in comparison with the southern residents.
