Data shows percentage of obese children has fallen nationally

CBC interviewed Angela Devlin, an obesity researcher in UBC’s faculty of medicine, about Statistics Canada data that shows that obesity rates for children in Canada are declining.

She said although it’s good news obesity isn’t increasing among Canadian children, increased obesity rates among adults could mean overweight children become obese as they age.
