Amin Ghaziani, a UBC sociology professor, was interviewed for a Mel Magazine article on the concept of a “gaybourhood.”
He said gay districts for LGBTQ people “incubate unique cultures, political perspectives, organizations and businesses, family forms, rituals and styles of socialization.”
