Study delivers ultimate buzzkill: Red Bull doesn’t give you wings

Yann Cornil, a professor at the UBC Sauder School of Business, was interviewed for a Vancouver Magazine story about a study that examined the effect of marketing labels on perceived intoxication and risky behaviours.

Cornil, the lead study author, said “when alcohol is mixed with an energy drink and people are aware of it, they feel like they’re more intoxicated simply because the marketing says they should feel that way.”
