Evan Wood, a UBC medicine professor, Canada Research Chair in Inner City Medicine, and the director of the B.C. Centre on Substance Use, wrote an op-ed for the Vancouver Sun about the opioid crisis.
He wrote that the province must “implement a provincial drug-testing service to allow consumers to test for and avoid toxic drugs like fentanyl.”
