Marc-David Seidel of the Sauder School of Business at UBC spoke to Global News for a story on Shaw’s plans to buy $430 million worth of spectrum licences in B.C. and two other provinces.
Seidel said the news is positive but unlikely to dramatically improve options for Canadian consumers, who pay higher fees for cell service compared to people in many other developed countries.
