Opinion: B.C.’s Lt.-Gov. may determine who can form government

The Province published an op-ed on the future of B.C. politics co-written by two UBC professors.

Joel Bakan and Margot Young, professors at UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law and Jeremy Webber, a law professor at the University of Victoria, wrote that the lieutenant-governor should not call an election until an alternative potential government has had a chance to gain the legislature’s confidence.
