News 1130 reported on UBC research that found patients with multiple sclerosis often display symptoms of a medical issue five years before they are diagnosed.
Helen Tremlett, a UBC professor in the department of medicine and Canada Research Chair in Neuroepidemiology and Multiple Sclerosis, and her team compared medical histories of 14,000 MS patients with 72,000 people who don’t have the disease.
