‘Lab in a cell’ helps crack code on chlamydia

The Vancouver Sun reported on scientists at UBC and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in the U.K. who are involved in groundbreaking chlamydia research.

Robert Hancock, a UBC microbiologist, said researchers can alter the properties of white blood cells to see how chlamydia bacteria penetrate and overwhelm cells.
