Earth’s mantle could suck up carbon from the air

Gregory Dipple, a UBC geologist, commented on a theory that speeding up a chemical reaction that occurs naturally in rocks from the Earth’s mantle could suck up tons of carbon from the air.

Dipple told Live Science that reacting these types of rocks will be one of the solutions to address climate change.
