Nature World News reported on UBC research that shows a new drug from a malaria protein can stop the growth of chemotherapy-resistant bladder cancer.
Mads Daugaard, a UBC urologic science professor, said it’s “quite beautiful” that a malaria protein can help patients with a different disease.
