Leah Edelstein-Keshet, a UBC professor of mathematics, was quoted in a New York Times story about a lizard with scale patterns that may unfold like a computer simulation.
Edelstein-Keshet, who was not involved in the computational imaging research, said she had never seen anything like it before.
