Kanna Hayashi, a UBC alumna, was named the first St. Paul’s Hospital Chair in Substance Use Research, Roundhouse Radio reported.
Hayashi earned a PhD from UBC and is the principal investigator on the BC Centre on Substance Use’s Vancouver Injection Drug Users Study.
