UBC research uses genomics to help cystic fibrosis patients

UBC research on possible cystic fibrosis treatment that involves sequencing the genome of a microbe responsible for dangerous infections, was featured in Metro News.

Corey Nislow, a UBC pharmacy professor, said he began the project since the average family isn’t able to afford new treatment options for the disease.
