Gordon Christie, a professor at UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law, was quoted in a CBC North article on a Supreme Court of Canada case regarding a wilderness area in northern Yukon.
Christie said there have not been many cases dealing with the interpretation of modern treaties, so this decision will likely set new ground rules.
