Organic food may be good for health but won’t save environment

UBC researchers at the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability published a study that found organic foods are not automatically healthier or more sustainable than conventional options, various media outlets reported.

The report’s lead author Verena Seufert, said there are many complexities and ambiguities in organic agriculture.
