U.S. News and World Report featured UBC research that found an invasive multiple sclerosis treatment known as liberation therapy seems ineffective.
Anthony Traboulsee, a UBC professor of neurology, said he hopes the study results persuade people with multiple sclerosis not to pursue the therapy.
