Universities come to grips with Canada’s opioid overdose crisis

University Affairs mentioned UBC in a story about how universities are dealing with Canada’s opioid crisis.

UBC was one of the first to stock naloxone kits at its student health centre in March 2016.

Marna Nelson, interim director at UBC student health service, said the kits are for people who are designated as high-risk individuals, or their friends and family.
