Canada 150: Frank Calder founded Nisga’a Tribal Council

The Vancouver Sun named Frank Calder, a UBC alumnus, to its list of 150 notable British Columbians.

Calder studied theology at UBC and became one of Canada’s first aboriginal university graduates before going on become founding president of the Nisga’a Tribal Council and fight for aboriginal land claims.
