David Tracey, a UBC alumnus, was interviewed for a column in The Province about the phenomenon of tree climbing.
Tracey, who has a masters degree in landscape architecture from UBC, said tree climbing is less popular now because parents are afraid for their children’s safety, and can end up stunting their development by preventing them from taking risks.
