The Toronto Star published an op-ed by Margaret McGregor, a professor and director of community geriatrics with the UBC department of family practice and Lisa Ronald, a postdoctoral fellow with the faculty of medicine.
They wrote that allowing the growth of a private equity service delivery model in Canada will undermine Ottawa’s priority of creating a high-quality system of community-based care for seniors.
