UBC removed an advertisement for the school’s new pool seen running on American far-right news website Breitbart, various media outlets reported.
UBC spokesperson Susan Danard said that it was a mistake by the ad agency, and the university usually excludes political sites.
The story appeared on Huffington Post, Globe and Mail, the Vancouver Sun, The Province, Metro News, CKNW, iNews 880 and Kelowna Now.
