CBC Radio interviewed Daniel Bilsker, a UBC clinical professor of psychiatry, about the reasons men make up the majority of fatalities caused by illicit drug overdose in B.C.
Bilsker said one issue is that men are not taught to discuss their emotional suffering or reach out for help.
