Metro News quoted Cecil Konijnendijk, a UBC forestry professor, after a new analysis of trees in major cities around the globe ranked Vancouver at the top of list for the most green canopy.
Konijnendijk said the findings by researchers at MIT, who measured tree canopy from a human perspective rather than a birds-eye-view, are surprising given that the city has had an issue with declining tree canopy.
