The Wall Street Journal highlighted research by Henry Siu, a UBC economics professor, that shows jobs based on a narrow set of repeated tasks are declining.
The study, a collaboration between researchers at UBC, the University of Manchester and the University of Southern California, also found that the impact is mostly felt by male high-school dropouts of all ages and men under age 50 with high-school diplomas.
