An Edmonton Journal story comparing Canada’s freezing winter climate to temperatures in our solar system quoted Brett Gladman, a UBC astronomer.
Gladman told the National Post that if the sun hits an asteroid in a certain way the hottest temperature on that asteroid could rise to about -40 degrees Celsius.
