Colleen Varcoe, a UBC school of nursing professor, was interviewed on Pulse FM’s Kash Heed Show about a study on indigenous women who face violence from their intimate partners.
Varcoe said the study focused on the safety of women since violence is known to escalate as women are deciding to leave abusive partners.
