The Globe and Mail interviewed Marc-David Seidel, a UBC Sauder School of Business professor, about potential new restrictions in New Brunswick on the age and time teens can work.
Seidel co-authored a 2014 study examining how part-time employment among teens as young as age 15 affected employment later in life.
“Based on our research, getting some part-time work experience when you are 15 seems to set you up for a more successful and satisfying career later on,” Seidel said.
