Keith Head, a UBC Sauder School of Business professor, was quoted in the Daily Star about how Canada’s trade agreement with the United States could be affected under President-elect Donald Trump.
“It’s hard to know how seriously he took those promises, or whether he said them because he thought they would play well but it could destroy Canada,” he said. “Trump doesn’t believe in climate change though, so the oil industry should be in a more favourable situation [for a trade cut].”
