CBC interviewed Jonathan Page, a UBC botany professor, for an article about the average levels of THC present in marijuana at Toronto dispensaries.
The pot tested by CBC had strains reaching as high at 30 per cent THC.
Page said this is much higher than marijuana in the 1970s, when levels in Canada were between two and eight per cent.
