The Vancouver Sun referenced an op-ed by Steve Morgan, a professor at UBC’s school of population and public health, for an article on public vs. private health care.
Morgan estimated that under Canada’s largely privatized pharmaceutical arrangements, the country will waste about $100 billion over the next ten years compared to what would happen if we launched a national pharmacare program.
