The Vancouver Courier highlighted a UBC student who aims to develop a surveillance system to track the rodent population.
Michael Lee will be starting his PhD at UBC’s school of population and public health in September 2017. The City of Vancouver has also expressed interest in possibly implementing a project like this.
Lee, currently a master’s student at UBC, has worked on the Vancouver Rat Project founded by UBC professor Chelsea Himsworth.
