Susan Birch, a UBC psychology professor who studied interactive education, was featured on Global BC’s evening news and on BC 1.
In her latest research, Birch asked two groups of 43 students to play a game about remembering animal facts. Half of the children played the game on an iPad and half played with a teacher in person. Both groups showed the same level of knowledge when they were tested later.
