Trump’s win leaves plenty for Canada to worry about

The Kelowna Daily Courier quoted Thomas Heilke, a political science professor at UBC’s Okanagan campus, for a story on the implications of a Trump presidency on Canada.

Heilke said Trump’s presidency could lead to serious economic and social concerns for Canadians.

“There is apprehension about what’s going to happen with the most unconventional candidate who may become a very unconventional president,” he said.
