Kamloops battling doctor shortage ‘one step at a time’

CBC reported on initiatives to combat the doctor shortage in Kamloops, including the involvement of UBC medical students.

The Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops has opened a new training facility for several UBC medical students.

B.C. Health Minister Terry Lake said the first graduating cohort will stay in the region after they finish their training.
