Audiology, genetic counselling and indigenous graduate studies

Maclean’s mentioned three UBC programs in articles about the benefits of various specialties.

Masters’ students at UBC can study audiology, which are generally small programs, and genetic counselling, which is only offered at three other Canadian universities.

UBC’s Okanagan campus offers a four-year indigenous studies undergraduate program. Jeannette Armstrong, a professor at UBC and the program’s coordinator, said the school has strong ties to the community which helped set it apart.
