CBC featured a report on Airbnb suites in Vancouver by Jay Wollenberg, an adjunct professor at UBC’s school of community and regional planning.
Wollenberg said if the suites and homes currently listed on the site became long-term rentals, it would ease the city’s tight vacancy rate slightly but would not make rents in the city more affordable.
