Bing Thom, 75, daring Canadian architect

The New York Times profiled the late Vancouver architect and UBC alumnus Bing Thom who died following a brain aneurysm last week.

Thom completed a bachelor of architecture degree at UBC and worked on well-known projects including UBC’s Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, the Mead Centre in Washington DC, and the Pacific Canada Pavilion at the Vancouver Aquarium.
