Jason Ellis, a UBC education professor, spoke with iNews 880 about Education Minister Mike Bernier’s decision to delay an audit of the Vancouver School Board
The audit will be delayed by two weeks due to bullying accusations. Ellis said this was a strategic political decision.
“He may be feeling the pressure or he may be sensing an opportunity. You know, if the audit comes out and says that finances are a mess, he may be feeling pretty good because he may have bought himself an opportunity to walk away from a mess,” he said.
