What’s wrong with buying a right-hand drive vehicle?

The Globe and Mail cited UBC research in a story on using right-hand drive vehicles in Canada.

The article reported that ICBC research found right-hand-drive vehicles represent a higher crash risk in a left-hand drive environment like B.C.

Statistics researchers at UBC challenged these conclusions and found, among other things, errors in comparing the small number of right-hand drive vehicles to the millions of other cars on B.C. roads.
