Event details: Homecoming 2016 is a full day of events on Saturday to celebrate the UBC Thunderbirds’ upcoming season. Up to 10,000 spectators are expected to fill Thunderbird Stadium to cheer on the defending Vanier Cup champion TBirds as they battle the Regina Rams. Halftime will feature a tribute to the 1986 TBirds, also Vanier Cup champs, and a chance for one lucky fan to win a brand new Honda Fit in a kicking competition.
