UBC hands out free opioid antidote kits amid B.C. overdose crisis

UBC is providing free opioid antidote kits to students without a prescription as part of a provincial program aimed at curbing fentanyl overdoses in B.C., the Vancouver Sun reports.

Patricia Mirwaldt, director of UBC Student Health Services, says very few students have come in for the kits since the program started in the spring.
