George Hoberg, a professor at the Liu Institute for Global Issues at UBC, was interviewed on CBC’s On the Coast for a segment on the province’s new plan to tackle climate change.
The plan does not include a plan to increase the carbon tax though it was a key recommendation made by a climate leadership team.
“I’m quite disappointed. It really is the abandonment, I think, of any ambition for B.C. to be a climate leader,” he said.
