Incomes of Canadian seniors, singles stagnant

The Globe and Mail interviewed UBC economics professor Thomas Lemieux for a story on income statistics among Canadians.

“Broadly speaking, all groups appear to have done well in recent years, or at least until 2014, the last year of data, which is consistent with most of the other evidence I have seen,” said Lemieux. “Inequality has not increased in recent years and pretty much all groups have enjoyed some modest income growth.”
