The Province featured an interview with UBC classical studies professor Cristopher Marshall for a story on ideal beach reads.
“I’m in love with the literature of the ancient world, from Homer on down,” Marshall said. “But when you are looking for a beach book from this time, you are looking for something of a certain length. You don’t want to be weighed down. You don’t want to deal with footnotes. You want something fun, light and frothy.”
