Research by UBC landscape and architecture professor Patrick Condon was highlighted in a Vancouver Sun article on affordable transportation in Metro Vancouver.
Condon found that the region could have streetcars and an expansion of electric trolley buses for a fraction of the cost of a Broadway subway.
